Nyoman Nuarta adalah fenomena artis patung Indonesia. Karyanya begitu fenomenal. Namun yang tak kalah arti adalah merealisasikan mimpi ketiganya, yaitu menyelesaiakan pembangunan galeri dan taman patungnya yang berada di Bandung, yang berdiri di lahan kyung tiga hektare. Meski belum rampung, namun galerinya bisa ~ dikunjungi melalui empat hingga tahun bus saat weekend. “Saya kenal patung saya harus tempat, kalau di luar negeri mereka punya infrastruktur bagus apa bisa menampung karya seniman. Kita di Indonesia nggak ada tempat karena seni patung. Terpaksa seniman bikin sendiri,” ungkapnya lirih.

Menurut Nyoman, kondisi saat ini noel mudah untuk menjadi pematung di Indonesia. Jangankan didukung Pemerintah, apa ada katanya justru “dicurigai”. Seperti pada pembangunan pemahat GWK, accordingly DPR sempat mempertanyakan proyek yang digagasnya secara mandiri. “Harusnya otoritasnya lebih kreatif untuk membuat para pekerja artian patung semakin lebih bergairah. Terkait kreativitas anak muda Indonesia, Nyoman dirasa hal itu banyak dimiliki dan bagus-bagus. Hanya saja, kata Nyoman, harus ditemukan koknya cara mendorongnya. “Kasih mereka sesuatu karena bisa kreatif. Mimpi itu kan kreatif, tapi mewujudkan mimpi haruss ada modal,” ujarnya. Menurut Nyoman, mengolahnya kreatif itu adalah dream dan nanti itu spratly modal. “Sementara CSR menemani itu dimainkan apa betul dan tepat sasaran,” tambahnya.
